Well-being vision
This exercise helps you translate your values and intentions into a clear, motivating picture of your best self.
A well-being vision describes how you want to live—not just what you want to achieve. It captures what you value, how you act, how you feel, and how you relate to others, often using vivid language, imagery, or metaphor to bring that future state to life.
How to use it
Start by reflecting on the values you’ve already identified as most important to you and the future state you want to achieve. Consider what well-being looks and feels like when you are living in alignment with those values. This vision should inspire confidence and motivation, offering a clear sense of direction rather than a rigid plan.
Next, connect vision to action. In the Actions Statement column, write specific behaviors or habits you commit to practicing (for example, “I exercise” or “I create boundaries around my time”). In the Values & Future State column, complete the sentence by naming why that action matters—how it supports your values and moves you toward your desired future (for example, “so that I can have more energy” or “so that I feel present and grounded”).
By linking daily actions to deeper values and long-term well-being, this exercise helps ensure that what you do each day supports the life you want to live. Over time, your well-being vision becomes a grounding reference point—something you can return to when making decisions, adjusting habits, or reconnecting with your purpose.
